This is my story.
I have lived my life in widening circles—beginning as an artist, drawn early to the mystery of creation; moving through anthropology, psychology, and ultimately English Literature when I realized I could not reduce the human spirit to diagnosis or dysfunction. Literature, like art, honors what refuses to be neatly contained. After time in Alaska recalibrated my sense of the wild, I earned a PhD in poetry, became a professor, and followed my devotion to the edges of my field—into ecology, sustainability, and inquiries into place and belonging.
Motherhood—raising two extraordinary humans—deepened the widening circles of my life and tethered my unfolding to a fierce, tender love that shapes the way I guide and lead. As my marriage dissolved and a spiritual awakening rose within me, I found coaching, became certified, founded my own practice, and eventually left academia as a Full Professor to devote myself fully to this work.
Mine has never been a path of narrowing, but of deepening—of trusting that the more intimately we enter our own lives, the broader our capacity becomes for presence, leadership, and love. I have always lived at the threshold—where noticing becomes creation, where surrender meets action, where fierce truth is held by a tender, unshakable witness. I am a bridge by design: between discernment and acceptance, instinct and intellect, the earthly and the ecstatic.
From this place between worlds, I guide you back to your own wholeness. I teach you to become radically present to the fullness of your experience so you can be truly available to the Life that longs to move through you—awake, unfettered, aching to be known. This is the devotion I bring to you: a guide who has walked the spiral inward and outward, and who can help you recognize and claim the modern mystic you already are.
